If any complain much because when you go to Red Lobster, Outbacks, or Olive Garden you know what to expect. I enjoyed their food because the flavor is unique among other seafood places. I can't debutant that the restaurants quality did go down a bit, the biscuits were not the same as I remember and some of the plates taste different from time to time as if the chefs change the recipe of some menu items. All came out around $32.58 +$6.00 tip. Over all it was a good experience that's why I gave it a 4 star.

Really about sums it up. I've dined at the Norman location and had a similar experience. It's not my first pick (for seafood) if I had to choose a destination for my next tasty meal, but it's decent enough to where I'm not complaining about cold food or crappy service. Great service! The food, just OK. Every restaurant looks about the same. This location actually has a valet looking entry way. Kind of fancy! The 2 live lobsters greeted me in the tank by the hostess stand. The food? -Biscuits were under-salted. Really? Maybe you made adjustments because people were complaining about how salty your food was but come on man! The onion/garlic powder or whatever you use to make them taste so delectable was missing. -Ceasar salad- I read that someone thought it was too salty. I took all of the croutons out and thought it needed more pepper. The dressing was fine and they put a lot of cheese. Yum. -Mussel appetizer. It was surprisingly delish. Fair warning though- there is LOTS of garlic and butter. I enjoyed dipping the CBB in the buttery grease. -Crab seafood bake- Seafood overload! The snow crab legs were also loaded with sodium. So that's where all the flavor went- out of the CBB's and into the crab! The shrimp and scallops sat in a pool of buttery garlic goodness. The potatoes stayed crispy to my surprise. Not a bad dish, just a tad bit too salty to me. And man, I love savory, buttery goodness. My advice? Proceed with caution- your food could be overly salty or under salted.

Ooh wow it was a better serves than most places?. So I had a good time here and the serves was so great it was hard for me to leave??

The only way this place has customers must be because they hadn't been before, or they just have no palate whatsoever! Obviously Red Lobster trades on its name, not its food... Yes, the cheddar biscuits ARE excellent; from there it goes rapidly downhill. The Caesar salad dressing tasted nothing like Caesar dressing and was so salty I had to send it back; my friend commented that ALL Red Lobsters tend to oversalt their food, which I found out to be true. We shared an appetiser, the lobster pizza which was soggy. Then got a large platter of shrimp cooked various ways, with a lobster tail. Even the lobster was too salty! And the grilled shrimp? They came out pale, even I could tell they weren't cooked. I sent them back, asked them what happened to the grill lines grilled shrimp usually have? So I waited, with no food, while my companion ate so hers wouldn't get cold. They brought the shrimp back. Only slightly more color. And still raw in the middle. Despite a chef coming out with this fresh lot and apologizing for the previous - how did he NOT see that the shrimp were still undercooked?! I will never never never go back here. The only decent thing about the place was our server Nancy, who was really good, and felt so bad about the food even though it wasn't her fault.

Oh my. No other reviews?? Come on.....no yelpers will even admit going here? What about the cheddar biscuits? Alright, in my defense it was a family event requiring atmosphere suitable for children. We waited over 30 minutes for a table. Never a good start. Our salads were topped off with frozen cucumbers and frozen tomatoes and several pieces of frozen lettuce toward the bottom of the bowl. I can only figure they must have kept them on ice. The rest of the lettuce was wilted. Of course the biscuits were incredible, so tasty but nothing else was good. My lobster was teeny-tiny but that would have been alright had it been good. I would give a "C" to the Rock lobster but the Maine lobster was the size of a jumbo shrimp, they split it in half and called it two pieces. It was tough as a rubber band. I ordered a baked potato but got mashed potatoes. They were decent so I ate them.

I normally avoid places like this, but we were meeting a friend for lunch and she wanted to eat here. The drab atmosphere was about as expected. The bench was a bit close to the table, but then my physique requires a bit more room than most :P. Okay, I have to admit that the biscuits were great. I wish they could make a meal out of them. The waitress was really nice, but not really up to par. They put jalepenos on our Lobster Nachos after we asked her to leave them off, then she picked them off for us instead of replacing the dish. I could have done that myself. I just didn't want the taste or heat of jalepenos on my nachos. I thought that I would try something different, and ordered the Rock Island Stuffed Tilapia. It was not really very good, and I almost did not even finish it. Anyone that knows me, knows that is rare since I shovel the food in faster than I can taste it anyway. Speaking of taste ... do they let the fish swim in the water that they fill the glasses with? I was wondering for two reasons: First, it sure tasted like it. Second, they tried to charge us for a soft drink. I suppose that they mistakenly gave us the more expensive "water of the day". I would expect this from Long John Silver's, but not at these prices. Our friend was looking forward to dessert, when the waitress brought our combined ticket out and set it on the table and rushed off. Mind you, this was not a busy time. The entire place only had less than a dozen people in it (perhaps for good reason), so she could not have been in a hurry to rush us out. This disturbed me for several reasons. First, don't guests normally ask for separate checks during lunch? We did not look like a family, I guarantee it. Second, she wanted dessert. So, we called the waitress over and explained that we wanted the check split and that she also wanted to order dessert. Overall, I suppose that I could compare eating at a place like this to shopping at WalMart. It might be good for majority of people, but it leaves a bad taste in my mouth; and that is not good for a restaurant.

Disappointing. I wish I knew why this particular location has been in steady decline for years. It just keeps getting worse and it's really sad. My most recent bad experience was a few nights ago--a late night to go order. We ordered 3 meals (Parmesan crusted chicken, walt's favorite shrimp, and shrimp trio sub crab Alfredo). When. Walked in the first thing I noticed was the horrible smell, and no, it didn't smell like seafood. It reeked of sour water, or something worse. I alerted the bartender who prepared the to go meals. She seemed completely unaware but kindly said they would do something about it. The biscuits were good, but everything else was really tasteless and not very fresh. The place was open until 11 pm and I called in my order at 9. I wouldn't think the time should have any bearing on the food quality. The crab Alfredo had crab shell in it. The shrimp scampi tasted like nothing. The broccoli was actually the best part of the meal and there was no seasoning on it at all. $15-20 a meal and a chain, you would expect some consistency, but no. Never again. There are so many better places on NW Expressway to eat, I do not advise wasting your money here.

Service was excellent. However, the cost cutting from the parent company has become evident. Restaurant is in need of some repairs. The famous biscuits have gone downhill (they didn't taste as good as they used to and looked to be poorly made, not just this location either). They used to give you rolled cloth napkins with silverware inside which seemed to make things easier on the servers. Now they give you paper ones that are ridiculous thin (think government toilet paper) that fall apart with the slightest touch. For a $70 meal, you'd think they'd spend a little more on these kind of things. Wife ordered a Bahama Mama to drink and that was excellent. The salmon was okay, not outstanding, but edible. My steak was actually pretty good, very little fat on it and cooked exactly how I ordered it.

Yes I sure did give them 5 stars ! Ummm one word ELVIS ! Not kidding , he was the best waiter I have ever had anywhere in my life ! Turns out he is a trainer for Red Lobster . When I travel for work I always check to see if there is a red lobster because you can't starve as long as there is one close to you . Biscuits and salad us all you need :) But in this case I didn't have to survive on that . He told me what to try and I did . All I can say is the plate and I had a moment Thanks Elvis I hope you do come and read yelp like I told you

I didn't even make it there to try it. I called to place an order to go, ended up waiting about five minutes before they came back to take my order (this I didn't mind). They answered again rushing me telling me to "go ahead and order, we're really busy" I said no thanks and disconnected the call.

There are some things you simply do because you love the person asking, and for me, that was agreeing to go to a chain restaurant with my grandma. I try not to spend too much times at chains, but sometimes they're inevitable. The cheddar biscuits were delicious, of course -- fresh and warm, they were just what we needed on a cold winter's day. I opted for a Caesar salad with shrimp, and Grandma got popcorn shrimp and a baked potato. My Caesar salad had a little too much cheese, but overall, it was still tasty. Our server was kind and attentive with re-filling drinks, and our food came out quickly as well. Red Lobster is not stellar, mind-blowingly good food that dazzles your every taste bud, but with good, pleasant service, it was a nice lunch with my grandma.

I ordered the Bar Harbor bake. The scallops and shrimp were good. However the lobster tails were rubbery. The muscles were old and nasty. I have had this dish at red lobster before and it was very good. Even the pasta was slimy. Red lobster has lost a customer

It was Red Lobster...so yeah. A couple of friends and I go every year for Lobsterfest as an annual rite of passage. It's a tremendous tradition! Every year it starts the same: 1) I'm up way too late watching terrible tv shows, 2) I see an ad for Lobsterfest, 3) I send a text to one of my friends, and 4) an email invite goes out from my friend to attend our annual lunch. Red Lobster is not the greatest seafood in the world, but still. There are two things they do better than anybody in the universe. Their complimentary biscuits are amazing and for whatever reason the Thousand Island dressing is the best I've ever had. If you put the dressing on the biscuits? Oh My God!!! Despite going for Lobsterfest I inevitably get fried shrimp (it reminds me of being a kid and going with my parents), and am never disappointed. Go with the two types of shrimp platter (pick any two you can't go wrong)! I'm sure I won't be back 'til next year, but I am just as sure I'll be happy I went again!

I have to admit, I'm partial here, because Red Lobster is probably my all-time favorite place to eat. To be honest, we all know its a chain, so, for the most part, the food and service is likely to be the same whichever location you choose. (It has always been the case for me, even when I've been out of state) This is my favorite location, for no other reason than it is close to home. The atmosphere is clean, warm and inviting, with a decor reminiscent of the sea and the fishing industry, as you would expect. The food is excellent, contrary to what the seafood snobs will tell you as they turn their noses up because this is a "chain" restaurant. It is also fairly reasonably priced for what you get, which is generous portions for the most part. The cheddar biscuits that are served before your entree comes out are addictively good, and my food has always been served piping hot. The service has always been excellent for the pace of the restaurant (They are often packed on weekend nights) and the waiters and waitresses have never balked at any special requests. The crab/lobster/shrimp/steak/ have always been excellent in quality and preparation. My only complaint about Red Lobster is the way they've downsized their baked potatoes over the years. I'd rather pay a few cents more for a good sized baked potato, often one of my favorite parts of a meal. However, I always request the waiter/waitress "sweet talk" the kitchen staff for a larger potato, and they usually help me out... just ask nicely. Even when I've had a problem with an order not coming out just right, they've always been quick to fix it for me... being polite always goes a long way anywhere. Being kind of a stickler for etiquette, I find it slightly annoying that the host/hostess and wait staff often address customers as "you guys," but then again, this seems to be practice regional to Oklahoma, to be fair.
